Jean-Paul holds a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (K.I.T.), Germany, and the INSEAD International Director Programme Certificate in Corporate Governance.

Jean-Paul gained an extensive experience in Manufacturing, Sales and Product Development as part of the ArcelorMittal group (former ARBED and ARCELOR) in Luxembourg, Turkey, Germany, United Kingdom, and P.R. of China.

During his over 35 years career across multiple organisations around the world, he has held different CEO, COO and Board member positions.
From 2013 to 2018, he was CEO of Luxinnovation G.I.E., the national agency for innovation and research.
He has a strong experience in international & multicultural business, conflict management, transformational leadership and people management.

Jean-Paul is an INSEAD (2018) and ILA (2019) Certified Director.
He speaks Luxembourgish, German, French and English fluently.
