Stefan Schaechterle holds a 'Masters' degree nin Economics from the University of Sankt Gallen. He is of Belgo/German origin and has 30 years of experience in investment management and business administration of mid-sized holding and investment companies throughout Europe. During his career he has been responsible for all aspects of corporate functions i.e. Investment Management, Finance and Tax, Business Development, Marketing and Investor Relations. 

Stefan is a Luxembourg resident and holds a license from the Luxembourg Government as professional economic advisor. He specializes on AIFMD and Risk Management issues for Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds. He has been particularly exposed to the Private Equity sector when working within PE Funds and Fund of Funds, creating and managing PE&RE Portfolios for corporate Investors or acting as lead investor in a number of investment projects and newly launched Funds. He chaired or was member of investment committees and supervisory boards, participated in the restructuring of portfolio companies and funds.
