Biography
Marc Lenert is since 1981 with the bank and since 2005 member of the Executive Board of BGL BNP Paribas, Luxembourg.
He is furthermore Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of LuxTrust S.A.
His past responsibilities, both within the bank and at group level, include a.o. Head of Corporate Finance, Head of HR, Head of Operations as well as Managing Director of an online broker start up.
Past Board of Directors mandates include Cegedel S.A. and Cetrel S.A.
He obtained his Licence in ‘sciences économiques appliquées’ from Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and his MBA from the University of Chicago and followed an AMP at the University of Oxford.
In October 2016 Marc has been awarded with a certificate in Corporate Governance (INSEAD) and became ILA Certified Director in November 2016.
Marc speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, English and Dutch.
