Virginie Lagrange is an Independent Director certified by ILA and INSEAD and a certified Réviseur d’Entreprises. She’s also a member of the ILA Board and ILA Banking Committee.

She has 25 years of experience in the Bank and Investment Fund industry in Luxembourg. She started as bank auditor at Ernst & Young in 1993. In 2000 she joined UBS as Head Internal Audit (4 years) and then as Chief Risk Officer (4 years). In 2009 she became Chief Financial Officer at Credit Suisse and in 2010 she joined Nomura Bank Luxembourg (“NBL”) as Chief Internal Auditor before being promoted Chief Administrative Officer where she was responsible for IT and Information Security, Projects, Finance, Human Resources, Data Management, Depositary Bank Controls and all administrative functions of the Bank. She was member of the Executive Committee and Authorised Management of NBL. She was also Director of Global Funds Management S.A. which is an AIFM management company belonging to NBL.

Virginie is holding mandates as Independent Director on boards and audit / risk committees of banks (from small banks to significant institutions) and she’s often chairing the audit committees. She’s also the chairwoman of a non-profit organization.
