Fernand's competencies are in the areas of Governance, Strategy, Finance & Risk management, Investments and Capital Markets.

He dedicated his career to different areas of finance: banking, life insurance, wealth management, investment funds, pension funds and last but not least actuarial and risk management consulting.

During his  activity as a Chief Economist of the Luxembourg Bankers Association he was involved in many legal and regulatory issues and files in the field of banking, capital markets and investment funds.

Setting up and running as a CEO  the Agency for the Development of the financial center Luxembourg for Finance allowed Fernand to gain insides into the functioning of the banking systems and capital markets in many countries, for instance in emerging markets. It also helped him to understand the principles of communication and branding in financial services.

Fernand is currently acting as a professional director on 2 banks, an insurance company, a "Super-Manco" as well as several investment funds (UCITS and Alternatives).
