Over the last 15 years Stefano has developed a sound knowledge in corporate governance by sitting on the board of regulated and non-regulated Luxembourg entities or being involved with different roles in their governance (Blackstone GSO, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit). After 25 years of direct experience in the Asset Management Industry in Luxembourg Stefano is now focused on his career as an Independent Director leveraging on his past experience as Investment Manager, Risk Manager and Board Member of investment vehicles and Management Company. 

Stefano holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Commerce from The University of Rome “La Sapienza” and an INSEAD Certificate of the Insead International Directors Programme and has a  F.M.V.A. Certification (Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst) from the Corporate Finance Institute. He speaks fluent Italian, English and French and is an independent user of Russian.
