The current pandemic-linked financial turmoil hitting most industries and sectors poses major challenges to companies globally. Investors as well as investees face a high level of uncertainty, which has direct impacts on financial reporting of Private Equity and Real Estate funds, in particular for AIFMs that must assess the fair value of their illiquid investments on a regularly basis.
